ABOUT THE ARTWORK:
___________________________
The Knowing Raven is an unusual piece which I really enjoyed drawing. Using my preferred traditional method of ink pen on paper, I added the Stag antlers and Feathers to really embellish the outside of the Raven Tree scene with detail. I love to include a level of intricacy and ornament whenever I draw with inspiration from nature in my art. This is another piece where my love of all things Gothic is evident, and my hope was to create a striking scene of beauty with an interesting twist. I enjoyed using pointillism to add tone, which can be seen on the roses.
