The Becca Who Collection of Accessories features some of the finest quality fabrics, including 100% Silk Crepe De Chine, Pure Silk Twill, Silk Modal and plush Velvet. These beautiful fabrics were carefully chosen for their luxurious feel, high quality and appearance in print. The fabrics are all digitally printed to an exceptional standard by the best fabric printing company in the UK, for fantastic vibrancy and detail. Here is some advice to help keep these treasures at their best!
Beautiful things need TLC!
In short, it’s Dry Clean Only, Store carefully in a breathable place.
Becca Who Silk Scarves are made using AA grade Silks and are amongst the highest quality on the market, as are seen in Haute Couture and gracing the catwalks. Our Crepe De Chine offers perfect drape and handle. To keep your item at it’s best, it is advised that you store your Silk item considerately, allowing it to breathe - We recommend keeping our Gift Box for this use, with the lid off, your scarf covered loosely with the acid free tissue paper provided – Please don’t store your Silk in direct sunlight or keep in air tight storage. Dry Cleaning Only is recommended for your Silk items (but don’t store in any sealed bags from the Dry Cleaners!). Wrinkles will fall out of Silk by hanging, but you are advised to do so carefully and not to leave Silk hung for very long periods of time. If you feel the need to iron, most importantly, place a clean layer of fabric on top of the item beforehand so as to not have direct contact with the iron and the Silk, just to be safe! – a cotton pillow slip or similar is ideal. This way, you can use a cool to warm setting. A good quality hand held steamer can work wonders to instantly revive wrinkled Silk - Just ensure that you carefully steam, on a gentle heat setting and avoid water spots by choosing a good quality product and steaming only when the steamer is fully heated up and ready.
Due to the nature of Natural Fibres, and the printing process, sizing of products can vary up to 10% of size stated, although generally, items are accurate to the size described. Any irregularities and variations in the weave of the Silk and Wool fabrics are NOT to be considered as defects at all - They are an expected characteristic of a natural fibre.
The utmost care is taken at all stages of our processes and every product is checked for quality prior to dispatch - but should you have any concerns, or are dissatisfied with your item, please email email@example.com or complete the form on our Contact Page and you will receive a prompt response regarding the issue.
All of my Art Prints are Giclée Quality - which means that they look fantastic first and foremost! Not only that, with such quality of digital print and luxury art papers, you are guaranteed that, with normal, careful handling, your prints will not fade for a lifetime!
We do, however, advise that you avoid touching the surface of the print as much as possible, as marks can be left on the surface due to the amount of ink saturation and the velvet texture of the paper. Avoid exposure to water or steam and to chemical vapours. You may display your prints in a position of direct sunlight if you wish, but the vibrancy of all inks does reduce over time with UV exposure and so this will reduce the longevity of your print.
